Newark Town Council encourages as many shops and local businesses as possible to join us and the Bloom Committee in making Newark a colourful and attractive place.

By participating in the scheme and sponsoring a floral display outside your premises, it will compliment the appearance of the Town Centre for the summer months.  The Town and District Councils also plant up beds and tubs throughout the Town to make Newark a vibrant place and the District Council will also install baskets on the lamp columns in the Market Place providing an additional welcome splash of colour.

Baskets are hung in June, and remain in place until the end of September.  Each basket will be fully maintained and watered by the Town Council to ensure that they continue to look their best throughout the summer.
