Each year the judges are looking for: Environment Sustainability, the variety & quality of the crop, the control of weeds & rubbish, the use of compost and the general appearance and creativity of each plot. The prizes are awarded at the Produce Show each year. |
Best Kept Allotment Competition
Each year the Town Council holds a Best Kept Allotment Competition. The judging normally takes place end of June beginning of July.
There is a winner on each site, one overall winner, who is awarded the Trophy and a Best Newcomer for all four sites.
