Mr Mayor, Councillor Harry Molyneux, was elected at the Annual Meeting of the Town Council held on Sunday 11th May 2008 at 12 noon in the Ballroom of Newark Town Hall.

Councillor Mrs Rita Crowe was elected to serve as Deputy Town Mayor.
