Cllr Lynn Roulstone was appointed as Mayor of Newark at the Annual Mayor Making ceremony held on Sunday 10th May 2026, in the Ballroom at Newark Town Hall.
Lynn was born in London but has always loved the East Midlands, having spent ten years living in Nottingham in the seventies and eighties. She moved to Newark in 2021 and thinks it is the best decision she ever made.
She is involved in various local groups and has been a member of the Town Council since 2023.
Lynn is looking forward to meeting as many people in the Town as she can during her term of office.
