Town Mayor

Cllr. Pamela Ball was appointed as Mayor of Newark at the annual Mayor Making ceremony held on Sunday 14th May 2023. Every year a new Mayor is elected.

In 2026 Newark will celebrate the 400th anniversary of having a Mayor and you can learn more about the history of Newarks mayoralty by visiting the Newark Town Hall Museum and Art Gallery.
